
Eric Niemyer
(PT, DPT)
Eric Niemyer was born in Bismarck, ND, but his family moved to Duluth, MN soon after where he spent his childhood. He went on to attend the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities where he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology. Over his undergraduate career, he gained experience in personal training, athletic training, and worked as a Strength and Conditioning intern for the Division I University of Minnesota hockey, basketball, soccer, tennis, track and field, volleyball, wrestling, and gymnastics teams.
After recognizing his own desire to understand the human body, movement, performance, and rehabilitation at a deeper level, he went on to attend St. Catherine University where he would earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2021. His passion for the field of physical therapy is strong and centered around an evidence-based approach to ensure patients receive the most up-to-date, well supported, and efficacious treatments possible.
He currently lives in Minneapolis, MN with his wife and rescue dog, Roux. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, golf, skiing, ice hockey, hiking, binge watching TV shows, and reading academic research related to physical therapy.
